Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom.

Havo, Mavo and VWO TTO
Havo and Mavo TTO
You might have already heard that from coming school year onwards Havo and Mavo will have a bilingual department too. And this is of course very good news for those who are eager to follow TTO, but don't have a Cito score high enough. (For Havo, your Cito score has to be 538 or higher and for Mavo, your Cito-score has to be 532 or higher to follow TTO)
VWO TTO
VWO TTO, or T-VWO is the TTO direction already introduced in the Haarlemmermeer Lyceum, and proven a succes. Hundreds of students follow T-VWO each year and demand for following it has been rising since its introduction at the school.
Globalisation
TTO is all about globalisation.
Some of you would ask: 'What is globalisation?' and 'Why is it so important?'. Well, to explain it briefly: globalisation is the progress of all the countries and nations coming together in peace in order to stimulate the exchange of trade, culture and knowledge throughout the globe. A good reason to do TTO, isn't it?
Attending bilingual education (TTO) is therefore meant for those who are interested in the rest of the world, or those who agree to the idea of coming together in peace, but also for you as a person it has great benefits, for example: the doors which are being opened for you to almost every master-study or every study you wish to attend in a foreign country. Or just imagine; when you will ever meet a new friend from another continent... you would be able to talk to your friend fluently, as you speak English almost fluently!
All these pro's are the main reason for the Haarlemmermeer Lyceum to offer every one from every educational level this amazing chance to be a step closer to globalisation and all of it's profits. Because, who would close the window to the world?
