TTO ActivitiesWhen you chose to do TTO, you'll not only follow TTO lesson, but you'll do TTO Activities too. The next 4 are the biggest ones. But besides these you will also visit musea, monuments and a lot of other places.
Immersion camp. In the first grade you’ll go to a camp in Giethoorn, together with your new classmates. This camp is designed to give you a good impression of what to expect from TTO and to get to know your classmates better. You’ll do a lot of activities (all in english of course) Junior Speaking Contest The Junior Speaking Contest is something you will compete in in the second and in the third grade. The goal is to write the best speech, about a topic that changes every year. First, you will have to deliver your speech to teachers. If you have one of the best speeches, you will go to a school final (or semi-final first, then final) and try win the school round. After a regional round you might even go to the national final, and try to win the national speaking contest! Tea party The tea party is a yearly event where your parents can look at how good your english has developed. This is done by a performance witch includes singing, dancing and acting. You’ll also have to bring food to the party, Most of the time you bring things like cake or pie. But it is also possible to bring something different, wraps for example. England In the second grade you’ll go to england for a week. You’ll sleep at a host family, together with 1, 2 or even 3 fellow students. This trip is designed to enhance your level of english, And of course for you to have a great time. You’ll visit many educative places in and around London. You’ll learn a lot from this trip and you’ll have a great time too. Italy In the third grade you’ll have your final TTO trip. But this trip is a very special one because it is an exchange. For one week you’ll go to an Italian students’ family that will take care of you. You will see many great things their and make a lot of new Italian friends. You’ll go to many great places together with the Italian class. And than a couple of weeks later they will come to your school. One of them will be sleeping in your house, and you’ll have to guide them around. |
